The Out for Good Workshop
The Out for Good Workshop, is a community forum, that engages youth and community members in discussion around the Out for Good documentary. Following a screening of Out for Good at a school or community event, One by 1 leads a question and answer session. The audience then discusses the choices the film's subject made as a teen, how those decisions affected his future, and how he chose to make personal changes for himself as an adult. The workshop provides a real life example of how poor choices in youth can affect us as adults and how we all have the ability to change to make a better future for ourselves.
Out for Good was chosen as one of the three Our City's Film Festival "Best of" documentaries and was also showcased at the Congressional Black Caucus of 2011.
